It's official - Mimi finally has a little sister. While Mimi, our 1991 Miata rests for the winter with Targa friends in Newfoundland, this yet-to-be-named 1999 Miata will be used for Spec Miata racing here Texas. The car should only need some minor adjustments to the driving position and then an alignment before it's ready to hit the track.
We're planning to race primarily with the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) and will have to start the process of obtaining a Competition License from scratch. The first step is a High Performance Driving Event (HPDE 1) at Cresson, TX, in March.
More to come!
After some technical difficulties, Megan is back in action. Here's a little photo teaser showing images from Leg 1 in 2015.
Happy New Year! And welcome to our new website, UnderbiteRacing.com, in 2016! This will be the central location for news and information on our Targa Newfoundland and Spec Miata racing adventures. We'll also share these updates to our existing Facebook and Twitter accounts for the family, friends and fans following us there.
We're looking forward to an exciting year of racing and hope you'll join us online, at the track, or back in Newfoundland for these new adventures!
